These terms cover your use of Bamsirev, the engine sound and dashboard website at this address, including the free plan and Bamsirev Pro. Bamsirev is run by [LEGAL NAME], a sole proprietor based in Norway ("we", "us"). By using Bamsirev you agree to these terms.

What Bamsirev is

Bamsirev is a website that plays a computer-generated engine sound through your car's or phone's speakers and shows a dashboard. The sound follows your speed, which your browser works out from your location. Every sound is synthesised by Bamsirev. Car and brand names are used only to describe the kind of engine a sound is modelled on. Bamsirev is independent and is not endorsed or sponsored by Tesla or by any car maker it mentions.

Made for the track

Bamsirev is intended for use on race tracks and closed courses, and while parked. It is not intended for use while driving on public roads. If you choose to use it on a public road, you do so entirely at your own risk, and you alone are responsible for complying with traffic law and for any consequences. Launch mode, Track mode and the timers must only be used on a closed course.

Driving safely

• You are responsible for driving safely and legally. Set Bamsirev up while parked, and don't let it distract you.
• Keep the volume low enough to hear sirens, horns, warnings and other road users.
• Follow local rules on in-car sound and screen use. Some places restrict them.
• The speed shown comes from GPS and can be wrong or delayed. Always use your car's own speedometer.
• Launch mode, timers and the dash are entertainment. Only accelerate hard where it's legal and safe, such as a closed track. Never race on public roads.
• Before the engine starts for the first time, the app asks you to accept these safety points.

Free plan

The free plan includes a set number of engines and a one-time free trial of driving time per car, as described on the pricing section of our home page. We may change what the free plan includes.

Bamsirev Pro

• Pro comes as a subscription, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown at checkout, which renews automatically until you cancel. It also comes as Lifetime: a single payment that keeps Pro on that car code for as long as Bamsirev runs, with nothing to renew.
• Pro is linked to the car (browser) whose code you used at checkout. If you clear that browser's data or change car, contact us and we'll move Pro for you.
• You can cancel at any time through Manage subscription on our website (Stripe's customer portal). Pro stays active until the end of the period you've paid for.
• We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it does.

Payments

Checkout and billing are handled by Stripe. Where Stripe acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for your purchase, Stripe's own terms for that purchase also apply and Stripe takes care of sales tax, VAT and billing questions. We never see your full card details.

Acceptable use

Don't copy, resell or reverse-engineer Bamsirev, try to get Pro without paying, or overload or interfere with the service.

Availability and changes

We work to keep Bamsirev running, but we can't promise it will always be available or work in every car or browser. We may update, add or remove features and engines.

Liability

Bamsirev is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for any loss arising from how you drive while using it. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.

Law

These terms are governed by Norwegian law. If you live elsewhere you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
